All project activities aimed at ensuring HyPEF’s success by bridging technical research with real-world application and policy influence take place under a dedicated Work Package (WP5). Over the past six months, the primary focus has been on the development and launch of the HyPEF Stakeholder Platform, now accessible via the Stakeholder Area Login tab on the HyPEF website.
This platform serves as a central hub for communication and collaboration, facilitating the exchange of information and feedback between project partners and our valued stakeholders. In a project of this nature, where external perspectives are crucial, the active engagement of stakeholders is a key driver for successful outcomes. We value the diverse voices shaping the future of the hydrogen economy and have designed the Stakeholder Platform to streamline engagement and contributions.

Welcome to HyPEF! We will deliver and test the FIRST EVER Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCRs) for fuel cells and hydrogen (FCH) products.
Building on the HyPEF’s Advisory Working Group—which includes representatives from leading EU organisations such as the Joint Research Centre, Hydrogen Europe, Hynamics, and the Italian Hydrogen Association—, we are now expanding outreach to ensure broader stakeholder participation. Our goal is to engage as many hydrogen stakeholders as possible, fostering a collaborative environment for the refinement of the FCH-PEFCRs developed in WP 3 and applied in WP4.
Looking ahead, we are pleased to announce an upcoming stakeholder workshop in October 2025 (exact date to be confirmed). This event will offer a valuable opportunity for in-person discussions, knowledge exchange, and feedback, further strengthening our collaborative efforts.
We encourage all interested parties to join the Stakeholder Platform and participate in the project’s key events. Your insights are essential as we work towards shaping effective policy recommendations for the environmentally responsible implementation of hydrogen technologies.
